Among the two images I processed so far this image is the nicer IMO.
Taken in light rain, hence the little droplets on the tail and the slightly wet feathers.
He/she is slow to open the black sunflower seeds, obviously it is not his/her staple diet but will help her/him to put on some good fat and
fuel the flight down South.
Thanks for looking.

Another wonderful image of this handsome little sparrow, Karl. As Dave noted, the details really stand out well.

I love them both, so no preference for me. Beautiful, Karl.

Karl, super nice with the moss covered perch, more vibrant colors and the attentive head turn.  Beautiful details and the droplets on tail is a neat touch - very well done!

Yes! Even better than the last one- gorgeous! By the way, we put fine cracked corn down for the sparrows (and piggy blue jays). They love it and it's a lot cheaper than sunflower seeds. :) (Don't know if it is as nutritious though....)

Gorgeous shot of this sparrow, Karl!
Would back off a little on sharpening though.
