Our resident eastern screech owl peers out its roost hole on a fall day. It flew out of the hole towards the brush next to the lake. Naturally, I went to see where it may have landed but did not see it. When I turned back fully expecting an empty hole, the owl was back inside. It's either the same hole or there were 2 owls in the same roost.
I walk around with much lighter gear when out exploring. Taken with the Canon 7D MK2, 70-200 f4 and 1.4x. Gitzo monopod. Thanks for looking. |
