Shot few days ago. Light was getting really low so I played with flash and Better Beamer. It really helped brings out the colors and details while lowering ISO.

1/25, ISO-800, f/5.6, handheld, VR-ON @500mm flash + Better Beamer -3.0 flash compensation, just a slight light fill.

Nice use of the flash Ludo. Looks very natural. I would suggest removing the light reflection (from the flash) in the eye however. It indicates the the light was coming from below the bird which is inconsistent with the overall image.

Nicely done, Ludo - it definitely does enhance the owl detail and autumn colours behind.

Top-notch flash work, Ludo. The exposure and color are right on the mark.
