Taken in Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula, from my van window with a window blind - a camo sheet with a hole for the lens.  The cavity had just fledged the last of a brood of Hairy Woodpeckers, and this bird was very interested in the potential nesting site.

Canon EOS 1D Mark 2 + 600mm IS lens
1/320 sec, f/8
Mode: Av
Metering: Multi-segment
ISO: 400
