A large stork of the Pantanal in Brazil.  The name comes from the Tupi-Guarani language meaning "swollen neck".  It is the tallest flying bird in South and Central America with a wingspan of 9-feet.

Such an unusual looking bird, Jake. The "swollen neck" appearance is unique, and the information provided is very interesting.
