An awesome takeoff shot of the Kingfisher leaving the water with a nice meal in its bill. Good plumage detail is revealed in large view. Wish the fish in its bill were a little sharper. Still, a very fine image.

Wow. Everything really lined up well for this shot. I know what it usually takes to orchestrate an image like this. Well done.

Wow, sure feels like I am just there. Terrific image!

Assuming this was a a mid focal point of the 24-70, say at 50 mm, I assume that this was in a hide or via remote. Kingfishers do not like proximity.

Amazing close view- love the splash. Curious how you got so close with a 25-70 lens!

Hi Eduardo! Thanks for your coments! This shot was done with the 24-70 at 47 mm. I used also a wirless trigger from a hide.

Very nice action image. You must have been fairly close with a fairly wide-angle lens. I would use a smaller aperture

Cheers
