I told my wife: let's go to the beach and find the Sanderlings.
I barely started walking towards the water when two landed in front of me, the only two that had been seen by birders along this 3 km stretch.
Thanks for looking.

Good shot. I went to Presquile on the weekend and it was a ghost town. Hardly any activity compared to previous years. Hope it picks up a bit.

The beach pebbles are a refreshing feature, and the low camera angle works exceptionally well, Karl. Very nicely done!

You are the bird charmer, Karl!  Seek and you will find.  :)

Wonderful image, I love everything about this from the low angle, pose and the setting with the beach and pebbles.  Well done!

Carol.

I like this. I also agree that the beach pebbles add to the visual interest of this image.
