Another lovely study in avian composition, Eduardo. The egret poses provide some nice artistic body lines and curves for you to work with. I can also see that the two birds on the right would make a very nice vertical image on their own.

I feel you have reached your goal of simplicity, and the B&W conversion assists you in that regard. However, I tend to gravitate towards your previous egret composition in color. Just my personal feeling.

I agree with your sentiments Ron, I also feel the first one is a stronger composition. This one is more demanding  and required more challenges of me...ergo, stripping colors seemed the way to go here. I seem to like images that force me out of my box. :-)
