Great-horned Owl

Here is another shot from series Owl hunting on the ground. This on has direct eyes contact. Owl was running around chasing prey and then stoped, turned around and ran towards me and stoped again and gave me this look and shortly after resumed chasing. This is all happening front of me. This is FF shot with zero crop.
D2Hs, 200-500mm f/5.6
1/20, ISO-3200, f/5.6, handheld, VR-ON @500mm

This one is perhaps my favorite of your collection. I might crop out the bottom just a little. If I had the chance to frame this image and either back off a little or create a little more room over the bird's head (without introducing a distracting element) I would.

Ludo, another unique shot of this handsome owl on the ground. We just do not see this often. Striking eye contact and great narrative!
