On our last trip to the Isle of Skye, we spotted this heron busy fishing for the small fish trapped at low tide in a tidal loch after the tide had gone out.  It found quite a few hidden in the seaweed along the shallow sides of the loch before the tide turned and rushed in again.

Carol, excellent job of catching the heron with a nice meal in its bill. It’s a great story-telling image in the seaweed of the tidal loch. All the technicals are right on the mark. Very well done!

Excellent walking pose captured and the fish in the beak is a big bonus, Carol.
