Hiked deep into public land during a sideways rain storm hoping for the barred owls to show. Just after the rain let up, at dusk, this ruby-throated showed up right in front of me. Fast fading light, and rain glistening off everything made for tricky conditions. But it really made the plants pop! Cropped little off side, full top to bottom
