This shot is from same series taken yesterday evening when owl landed on the ground and hunting. I had to find opening between branches of the bushes on the ground while not making a sound or any steps, owl was so close, this is full frame shot with zero crop.
Later I was able to move sideways to get clear shots of the owl on the forest floor chasing some prey.

I really like this composition. It has an ethereal look to it and unique looking. Looks like you're having fun with great horned owls.

The sharp eye works for this image. Comp wise, I would place him more in the right of the frame. I also see a good potential vertical.

Wonderful image with one's attention drawn to that very sharp eye!

Ludo, I like the blurred effect in this image--along with the sharp eye.

I love images like this where blurred vegetation frames the subject, in this case a young owl. It sure makes the eye stand out beautifully. Well done, Ludo.

I keep having to say "best one so far"! But I LOVE this one. My kind of shot, with the owl appearing mysteriously in the soft foliage.

The composition and the sharp eyes are indeed mention-worthy. Lovely take. Even I would have placed it a little bit more on the right.

Regards.

Love this one, Ludo! Beautiful and unique view through the foliage and sharp as a tack on the eye. Great shot!
