Photo taken at Laguna Seca Ranch in South Texas March 8, 2018.
Nikon D850, 300mm lens, 1.4 TC, 1/640 sec at f/8.0, ISO 640. Looking through some photos from earlier this year and found this one. This Caracara is still technically a juvenile, but it is very close to getting his "adult" feathers. Caracaras lose one feather at a time, so it takes a while. |
