Shot recently. I have tons of pictures of this family, but rarely I see
male papa with the youngsters, very rare shot at least for me.
Other 2 siblings were , one on the same horizontal branch as the two
but too wide to fit in the frame and other youngster was on the same tree few branches above in the back.
Momma was few trees over.
It was shot in the evening with sun going down shooting against the light owls heavily backlight. I decided not to use flash and hoping there would be enough info in the image to process.

Ludo, the exposure looks better without flash — great post processing and handling of the backlight. Good to see the father with the young. Appreciate the narrative detail you provide along with your image.

Love this ongoing story- so charming to see the family in various combinations. They must be getting used to you! "Papa" looks so dignified. :)

Ludo, Good job handling the backlight. Nice pair and the lichen limb adds interest.

Lots of great info, and lovely capture of these two with excellent detail against the back light! I love the 'horn tufts up' and horn tufts down' you caught here Ludo.
