After a drink at the bird bath-hope this is an OK element- couldn't resist posting . Taken at dusk, at home. Hand held.
I have several families right now at my feeders-so wonderful to watch.

Cindy, excellent pose and lovely background. Lucky you with all the Grosbeaks visiting. Hand of man is allowed so this is just fine. Well done!

Thanks, Ron.  We are very lucky- this flock has come every year for 30+ years...but it is greatly diminished. No one else in the immediate area has breeding birds.

Amazing shot Cindy! Beautiful colors on this bird. I love the looking up pose. The bird bath don't take anything away from this shot. This shot would look awesome in a nice large print.

Sweet!  The birds do appreciate a water source in this terrible heatwave.  You could make a really pretty water feature with your artistic flair and get some lovely images.  You've got a great background here, and just some moss and stones to disguise the edge would make a nice setting for your feathered friends.  :)
