D2Hs, 200-500mm f/5.6
1/40, ISO-360, f/5.6, handheld, VR-ON @500mm

NOTE: I changed the AWB, it was bit too warm as Gene suggested.

Between the osprey and owls you are staying busy and getting some great images, Ludo. Super eye contact and detail on this Great Horned Owl. A handsome photograph.

Ludo, Really like the comp and natural environment. Eye contact is superb. On my monitor, it looks just a tad oversaturated?

Thank you all for the kind words.
Gene thanks for the suggestion on saturation. I cooled down the AWB to 3825K and it seems to work better.
One think I love about this D2Hs camera that it produces very rich colors due to massive pixel size (only 4.1MB body).

I changed the image and posted with cooler 3825K AWB.
