Shot yesterday. Here, adult was hovering near the nest before landing and it was circled around by 2 other adult Ospreys. There was lot of screeching.
This is a heavy crop with D2Hs (4.1MB body)
D2HS, 200-500mm f/5.6
1/1600, ISO-200, f/5.6,handheld, VR-ON, @500mm

Excellent in-flight pose; and the fish and open mouth ice it. The background is a little dark, but I like it because it makes the osprey stand out. Nice work, Ludo. Great series!
