Snow Bunting

It was nice to find this beautiful snow bunting, in its breeding plumage, on its breeding grounds. I normally get to see them in Massachusetts where they spend their winter. Taken at Prudhoe Bay during Dalton Highway tour with Matthew.

The ice/snow perch is fitting for the species. Nice back pose and head turn.
