Beautiful Phalarope.....one of my favorites. I love watching them feed.....which makes it a challenge to get one going in circles. This actually is a female.
Phalaropes are unique in that the sexual dimorphism is switched as well as the task of parenting (females are actually the more colorful than the male and the male tends to the nest and chicks). Well done.

Lara - Thanks for the correction! - I was unsure. Sibleys made it look to me that the male had more of a red neck like this one/
