Shot yesterday evening. I tracked this mommy in the woods.  There was a slight opening between obstacles. I took shots at different focal lengths anywhere from 300-500mm and end up 500mm was the best option and choosing more closer portrait since wider shots didn't offer any benefits.
D2Hs, 200-500mm f/5.6

Ludo, a very good portrait with excellent head and eye detail. I used to shoot with a D2Xs, so I can understand your appreciation of the D2Hs. Both are fine cameras.

Great sharpness and details in the face/head area, Ludo. Nice colors too.
