The Oregon Coast nest site as been successful for the 6th straight year. Not the original pair but the chicks keep coming. This particular Male ousted the original male and then fed the 4 chicks after the female also disappeared. We call him "Stepdad" even though he has passed the era.

Love seeing this one. Even better is the story behind it which adds so much. Well done.

Nice look back pose and I like the inclusion of the cliff habitat. The little bit a greenery growing in the crack adds a little color and interest to the image.
