This is a shot that I took in my backyard a couple of weeks ago.  This species nests in my neighborhood but this is the first shot that I am really happy about that I have taken of it.  They tend to stay high and hunt dragonflies and when they do perch in my area, it's on telephone wires.  I think this is a young bird rounding into mature plumage.

A beauty, Nate. Love the warm light and the nice detail. A great in-flight shot of the Kite.
