Cape May Warbler is not a very common migrant in south TX. A good year for me is to see more than one.
This guy hung around the parking lot at Paradise Pond in Port Aransas, TX for a couple of days and was definitely the highlight of a much poorer than normal migration. Overall number of migrants was down significantly compared to prior years. Hurricane Harvey destroyed a lot of the good habitat. D850 with Tamron 150-600 at 600 mm, ISO 800, 1/2,500, and f6.3. Thanks in advance for any criticism, comments, suggestions, etc. Bruce Sherman
