Among all the sunbirds found in these parts of the world they are probably the most colourful. In April-May with their full grown tail is really a treat for the eyes. I climbed more than 8000 ft up to the Himalayas to get some shots of this beauty.

He He.... that wasn't a trek. It was a car ride and a subsequent stay for three days at that altitude. It's a paradise for the birders if one can go there at the right time.
