Very nice image, love the composition. It looks almost like there is frost on the ground.

Karl, There WAS frost on the ground, and plenty of snow, still.
Very cold wind blowing across the ice, even though it was 50 degrees.

Well done with this one. The only thing cooler than the bird....is hearing it's call. I couldn't believe it the first time I heard it.
