Photo taken at Laguna Seca Ranch in South Texas April 16, 2018.

Nikon D850, 300mm lens, 1.4 TC, 1/800 sec at f/6.3, ISO 125.

Inca Doves are not posted very often.  There's only been about a dozen photos ever posted of Inca Doves on this site.  Dean Carrier posted a photo of an Inca Dove in April of this year and correctly noted that they are becoming more and more scarce due to an invasion of Doves from countries other than the U.S..

Thanks for sharing this scarce dove, Gene. The marking on the plumage is super.
