You really had a GOOD trip. Nice and sharp with good exposure control. Pops nicely off that dark background. Consider cropping or cloning the gray strip across the top?

Another fine image from your trip to Galveston, Dean. Very good detail and color. If it were mine, I would burn down the highlights in the wood on the right.

Beautiful bird. I like the dark BG, it makes the bird pops out the frame.
