In the cat-tails, Kentville, NS, Canada. May 2018 but still retaining some streaking from winter plumage. Nikon D500, 300 F4-PF-VR and 1.4x TC, hand-held. 1/500. f7.1. Cropped and processed in LR cc. Thanks for looking.

The setting in the cattail habitat is perfect, Richard. Due to the angle of light, the body of the sparrow is a touch on the dark side. You might consider brightening it a bit. Nice image, nonetheless.

I agree with Ron’s suggestion. I love how you included habitat, yet kept its not busy or cluttered.
