Red-winged Blackbird

Shot this evening. I was playing with this Blackbird. He was chasing other males away and proudly show off the red patches.
There was not much light left so I had to crank ISO-6400 and opened up the lens wide open f/4.5.
1D4, SIGMA 500mm f/4.5, EX DG HSM
1/2000, ISO-6400, f/4.5, handheld.

These guys are difficult to capture in flight - at least for me anyway. Nice action captured.

Ludo, great in flight pose with top-notch exposure of the blacks. A crop on the right also would look great. Super work at ISO 6400.
