Photo taken at Laguna Seca Ranch in South Texas May 2, 2018.
Nikon D850, 300mm lens, 1.4 TC, 1/1000 sec at f/9.0, ISO 400. A few Painted Bunting males have this yellow area on their chest. The yellow, I think, is distinctive and adds even more color to an already colorful bird. |
