Love the wing position and how that red eye pops.

Nice wings position and sharp picture. It is not easy to photograph a duck with water on it in a direct light, but you did it well. If you can remove the white spots will be perfect. I found these ducks on my last trip to Colorado and I took pictures 3 times in a day to get out the white spots, and only the last time late in afternoon the light was not harsh and the pictures came good.
Beautiful colours one of my favourite duck.

Agree, nice wing spread and detail.  Would never have known the white spots are not part of the bird.

One of the best looking Ducks especially when it shows the blue in the wing. Well captured, Ludo.

Great timing to catch this wing-flap pose, Ludo. Beautiful color, as Karl and Rob point out.

Lovely capture of the wing flap and such sweet detail, especially of the underwing feathers. Beautiful colours with the 'cinnamon' body and that flash of blue in the wing. A beauty, Ludo!
