At the Northern limit of its range, this bird was collecting nesting material at Point Pelee.
It came so close many times that the 3.5 m minimum focusing of the 500 was too long. On the other hand my wife had amazing close ups with her 100-400 II. lens and forget about tripod at that location it is a hindrance. Next year I'll definitely take both lenses. Thanks for looking.
