Shot this morning. Sun was getting too strong for my taste, but I took the shots anyway.
1D4, SIGMA 500mm f/4.5 EX DG HSM + 2.0X TC (1000mm F/9)
1/1250, ISO-2500, f/16, handheld.

Not easy to get them when surrounded by foliage like this Ludo, but he pops beautifully from the background!

Ludo, Viewed large, image quality on the bird is very good. Background a bit busy. I would have taken it too.
