Surf scoter

There were still several surf scoters at their wintering grounds the other day so I took advantage before they leave. There was quite a bit of flying around and chasing going on suggesting that pair forming was still active. Exposure is not easy on these birds.
*All of the white spots on its belly are water droplets.
