heard a robin giving its alert call and quickly spotted a raven with a robins egg. Life and death in the forest.

Good behavioral image with the egg in the raven’s bill. The out of focus tree on the left margin is a bit distracting. Nice surroundings in the remainder of the image. Welcome to NatureScapes.
