Hungry Barn Swallow Chicks

I had been trying hard to get a perfect focus on the eyes and the inner portions of the mouths of the chicks. I have taken this shot with Nikon D7000 + Nikkor 300 mm f/4 ( Non VR ) + 1.4X TC.

EXIF : 1/800s, f/7.1, ISO 1250 at 420 mm focal length

Biru, I think you achieved what you were after. Wings up on the bird on the right adds interest to the image.
