This drake Cinnamon Teal in-flight was captured during my recent SoCal bird photography in Irvine, CA. This particular morning in late February was the last shoot of my trip before making my long drive back to Kansas, and it did not disappoint. Thanks to David Salem for his guidance and expertise on this leg of my trip. Thanks for looking, and don't forget to left-click for 1100px version!

perfect you nailed this teal wright on, just a small comment MIKE should try vertical, you would have the complete duck in your shot.

Thanks Peter for the suggestion. I didn't think about a vert comp, I guess because I felt it may diminish the impact of water cut of the wing in the comp, but I'll see what it looks like

Beautiful drake and beautiful shot! Wonderful detail and colours, and great timing to catch the dipped wing tip.
