Mourning Dove

Shot yesterday. This Dove landed at the edge of the dead tree near the water. The BG vegetation created very nice settings.
1D4, SIGMA 500mm f/4.5 EX DG HSM + 1.4X TC
1/1250, ISO-800, f/8, handheld.

EDIT: I toned down a little more the bright highlights as Ron suggested, thank you Ron.

Excellent look back pose and resulting eye contact, Ludo. Maybe tone down a few of the bright areas in the background. The detail and sharpness of the dove could not be better. Good job!
