Nice one, Rob. Looks like he's waiting for spring to arrive like the rest of us.
Cheers. Hope to run into you sometime this upcoming season.

Refreshingly different with the streaking rain drops. It works so well (IMO) because the angle of the bird mimickes the angle of rain streaks. Wonderful detail and pose. Excellent work, Rob.

Very nice perch shot Rob! I love the small snow flakes streaks and on the bird. Amazing colors.

Beautiful little BB in the falling snow, it looks as blue as the supporters at the MC end..........

The pose, detail and just the whole feel of this shot is gorgeous, Rob.

I have always associated snow with falling flakes, or with large streaks when used with a slow shutter. That's why I referred to the narrow streaks as rain. Perhaps "freezing rain" or "precipitation" are a better descriptions.

Great image. Rain or snow can offer great opportunity, especially as spring migrants arrive to the north.

Oh, this is outstanding in multiple ways. Love the pose. The snow really adds an element of the environment.

Thanks for posting.
