This shot of the Rothschild's Mynah Leucopsar rothschildi was taken today at a public park here in Hong Kong. This species has its origin traces back to Bali, Indonesian. I was lucky to spot this couple courting ...

It definitely looks like a Myna bird but looks like a negative of the Common Myna's we have in Hawaii. Pretty cool. I only wish the background didn't have the bright area behind one of the birds.

Excellent shot, KK. The yellow spot noted by EJ is my only nit, but despite that the image stands beautifully on its own.

Marvelous birds, what combination of colors, the perfect getup for a Pimp!! missing are the two tone shoes and the watch chain!!! Were do this birds get these outfits!!!, I am guessing not to many predators in that part of the world ?, Very nice indeed!! Congrats!!! 8)

I too think the light spots are the only competing aspect of this photo. The whites are wonderfully rendered to show just enough detail.
