I was after a spotted sandpiper, when this ducked walked by, eclipsing my subject.  The light was just right, so I took a couple of shots of the duck, and went back to the sandpiper.  Afterwards, while browsing the photo in the camera viewer, I could not stop looking at this pretty face!

A striking portrait — it Is easy to understand why you could not stop looking at it. Great color, great background, and great light. Very well done!

Excellent portrait of this unusual duck. The skin looks like black leather.
Nice catch!
