We find them almost exclusively during migration. That image is full size as it was soo close that a few shots just did not fit in the frame.

Nice details Karl! Amazing wing color pattern, better view large , must click on the image...well worth it.

Nice exposure on this but he's really crowded in the frame. If you have the canvas to go looser I would.

Great details when clicked on and the profile of the head really stands out to confirm the ID of a Lesser Scaup. It is not often Karl that you can get as close to these species, well done.
