The gray spot is very interesting, but I have no idea what caused it. Great detail in this one, and the pose is excellent. Super eye contact.

Sweet pose and beautiful detail. My guess is some sort of injury that caused the feathers there to discolor.

Good look at this guy and nice exposure on his flank. Easy to blow that away!

Found this on a duck breeder site:
