NIKON D800 Nikkor 70-300mm @ 300mm
f/13; shutter speed 1/125; ISO-400.

Vicinity of Bibra Lake Western Australia. They are common in most areas around Perth.

Thanks Ray. I try to go for the eyes. I think if you can get the eyes right the rest of the image will usually work.

Nice natural behaviour capture, Tom - and what a brave bird, if the spiders don't come looking for me, I won't go looking for them.......... I think that's a fair trade off!  :)
