Great Blue Heron

Recent shot of this GB Heron in early morning hours. I am experimenting with 2x1 aspect ratio crop (panorama). It looks interesting.
1D4, SIGMA 500mm f/4.5 EX DG HSM
1/1250, ISO-2000, f/7.1

NOTE: I changed the crop to leave more space above the heron.

You nailed this Heron, Ludo. It's very sharp, and I like the soft lighting. The pano format works well with the length of the Heron, but maybe just a little extra space at the top. Sweet image!

Thanks for Ron for the kind words and suggestion to crop the image with more room above the Heron, I just corrected. It does looks better,
