Camera: Nikon D800
Nikon Lens 200-500mm f5.6 VR
Shutter 1/1600
f/8
ISO 800
Photo taken on Jan 28 2017  6:01 AM South Mole Fremantle,
Western Australia
Original file is Nikon NEF raw image 77+Mb. Hand held.

Hardest part of the operation was getting the file downsized
enough to meet the requirement for non-members. I gave it a go
while waiting for my paid subscription to be approved/acknowledged.

Squirt, Welcome to NSN. A bigger file will certainly show better detail. I like the look on the face.

Welcome. A fun first post. Good light and subject isolation. Right wing is a bit close
to edge, so maybe give him a touch more room.

I got that shot off before he flew up the barrel of my lens, then landed about ten feet from me.
