Beautiful image! The pose grabbed my attention at the outset – the mallard is standing on its toes!!! Lovely wing spread, nice exposure, and great background. Well done!

A very common bird but a fantastic frame of it. Looks like it could stand to go a bit brighter and some more detail extracted out of the dark areas. It would be nice to know what gear you are using? I assume it is some sort of Nikon judging by the net handle 'nikon guy'. I am surprised there are not more comments but perhaps this starts to reflect your overall participation on the forum.

Beautiful rendering of this guy. You've nailed all the key color point between the head, wing, and feet.
