Hi,
As spring approaches here in New York I am playing catch up very quickly. I am backlogged to June 2017. In June the Northeast US puts on a fruit bonanza of Service Berry.  I use this perch often in to attract many species of birds.

Nikon D800 500 VR, ISO 250, 1/800 F6.3, tripod, doghouse blind, Westchester County, New York

thanks always for looking and image critique

my own critique is the dead space in the upper left corner. cropping vertical did not help for this. I could crop closer but I prefer looser crops..

Beautiful lighting and that berry in the bill is awesome. The 'empty' space you mention doesn't bother me. Cheers
Thanks for looking,

One of my favorite species. Great image, James. Killer background and the berry in the beak is wonderful.

Nice image James of a specie of which I have no images (I'm a little jealous). Cropping is so personal and subjective. My first impression was to crop more into the left side but I have no issue with your choice.

super colourful shot James. No issues with using space as I go for that too
