This bird flew across my windshield in the early morning one winter day. I couldn't believe it. It perched in a field on my friend's property.

Amazing capture. I love the direct eye contact. Awesome eyes. Not an easy shot to take against the sky. In the skillful master's hands , the ancient 1D Mark II can do some magic.

The little owl is wonderful, Paul. Great detail and amazing eye contact. The background twigs are a little bit of a distraction, but overall this is a very fine image.

Nice find and lovely shot of this very rare owl. Now, that's how I like to see my boreal owls.

Captivating stare. Well shot for what appears difficult shooting conditions.
Thanks for looking,
