Definitely the perfect light and pose for this species, Karl. So simple, yet very striking. The oak titmouses around my house don't have the buffy flanks which certainly adds to the image.

The overcast light is soft, and allows you to capture that wonderful detail in the Titmouse. These guys don't sit still for long, but you nailed this one, Karl.

Very well captured with great detail in the plumage. The background is perfect for this bird as well.

I love the soft light and the BG. I am amazed how sharp it is , especially shooting in tough light conditions. I better start saving money and get 5D Mark IV.
Must click on the image to really see it large.
